Illumination of the Christmas Tree
Christmas Carols around the Tree
Mulled Wine and Mince Pies

A vacancy has arisen on the Parish Council due to the resignation of Councillor Tony Barratt. A bye-election to fill the vacancy will be held if by 6th July 2018 10 electors for the parish give notice in writing to the Chief Executive of ERYC at County Hall, Beverley HU17 9BA claiming such an election. If no such notice is given the parish council will fill the vacancy by co-option.

The Annual Village Assembly will take place on Thursday, 10th May 2018. Starting with the Annual Parish Meeting at 6.30pm, followed by the Annual Parish Council Meeting at 7.30pm
At the Annual Parish Meeting individual village groups have been invited to share with local residents details of the activities undertaken over the last year and planned for the coming year.
The meeting is chaired by Claire Wood as Chair of the Parish Council, but only hears and meets the business of the electors.

The Great British Spring Clean takes place next month and the Parish Council will be arranging litter picking on the weekend of 17th/18th March – please watch out for posters on the village notice boards – meanwhile if you spot any litter please pick it up and put in one of the bins!

Ellerker Parish – Public and Parish Council Meeting
The Parish Council has called a Public Meeting for 7pm in the Ellerker Village Hall on Thursday 9th November 2017, to be followed by the bi-monthly Parish Council Meeting at 7.30pm.
The Public Meeting will consider planning application 17/03051/PLF [Change of use of land from a Nurseries Processing Business to a Semi Retirement/Retirement Static Caravan Park | Westland Nurseries Sands Lane Ellerker ] – all Ellerker residents are invited to attend.
