Following the success of the Christmas Event last year the Parish Council and other Village Committees are jointly planning a similar event on the afternoon and early evening of 8th December, which will include:
Children’s Party
Illumination of the Christmas Tree
Christmas Carols around the Tree
Mulled Wine and Mince Pies

Vacancy for Parish Councillor
A vacancy has arisen on the Parish Council due to the resignation of Councillor Tony Barratt. A bye-election to fill the vacancy will be held if by 6th July 2018 10 electors for the parish give notice in writing to the Chief Executive of ERYC at County Hall, Beverley HU17 9BA claiming such an election. If no such notice is given the parish council will fill the vacancy by co-option.

Annual Village Assembly 2018
The Annual Village Assembly will take place on Thursday, 10th May 2018. Starting with the Annual Parish Meeting at 6.30pm, followed by the Annual Parish Council Meeting at 7.30pm
At the Annual Parish Meeting individual village groups have been invited to share with local residents details of the activities undertaken over the last year and planned for the coming year.
The meeting is chaired by Claire Wood as Chair of the Parish Council, but only hears and meets the business of the electors.

NHS – Minor Injury Treatment Centres – changes from 4th April 2018
Great British Spring Clean in Ellerker
The Great British Spring Clean takes place next month and the Parish Council will be arranging litter picking on the weekend of 17th/18th March – please watch out for posters on the village notice boards – meanwhile if you spot any litter please pick it up and put in one of the bins!
