The work to install the new water main in Sands Lane by Morrisons (on behalf of YW) has been delayed due to complications in Todds Lane. Work is now due to start on 4th January 2016.

18th Ellerker Show
The 2016 Ellerker Show takes place on 28th-30th January at 7.30pm in the Village Hall. Tickets are available from Mike Parker (421132), Diana Bushby (422757) or David Wood (424474).
St Anne’s at Christmas
Services at St Anne’s over the Christmas period are as follows:
Sunday 20th December – Carol Service and Nativity Play at 6.00pm
Please note that there will be no morning service on Sunday 20th
Thursday 24th December – Midnight Service at 11.30pm
Friday 25th December – Short service at 9.30am
Carol singers will be touring the village on Tuesday 22nd December. We will be starting at Ellerker Garden Centre at 6.00pm and welcome anyone who would like to sing with us – join us at any time.
St Anne’s Christmas Coffee Morning
All are invited to a coffee & mince pies morning in the village hall from 10am until midday on Saturday, 5th December. Admission is £1 and there will be a cake stall, bring & buy and produce stall.
Thursday Prayer Meetings
The church bell at St Anne’s will sound before noon on Thursday, 3rd December and every Thursday thereafter, prior to a weekly meeting for prayers commencing at midday.
Yorkshire Water – major works in Ellerker
Starting Monday 30th November, Yorkshire Water will be replacing a water mains pipe which is prone to bursting. Work is expected to last for “nine weeks” and will affect most of the village. Here is the letter from Yorkshire Water.
