St Anne’s Church, Ellerker
At this time of year you may find that “Santa” has delivered some toiletry gifts, which are “surplus to requirements”. If so, please would you consider donating them to people in need of basic hygiene supplies?
There are literally hundreds of people in Hull who are homeless / refugees / living on the breadline in need of hygiene essentials. When you are shopping it would also be great if you were able to add any of the following to your basket: toothbrush / toothpaste / sanitary items / combs / deodorants / soap / shower gel / shampoo. Supermarket own brands start at 20p!!
There is a collecting box inside St Anne’s Church, (open every day between 9-5; do pop in!) which will be there until 14th February – rather apt as it is St Valentine’s Day, the patron Saint of love. We will then distribute to Open Doors and the Church Mission Society in Hull.
Let’s keep the Christmas Spirit going in 2016! A very Happy New Year to you all and Thank You!
